Twas the night before Christmas...

This time of year makes my heart so happy.  I love everything about it, but Christmas Eve would have to be my favorite part.  I love letting the kids make Santa's cookies and the reindeer food.  And then snuggling on the couch to watch a few Christmas movies.  And of course ending the night with "Twas the night before Christmas" story.

Usually when Im off work my camera dosent even leave the bag.  But this Christmas break Im leaving it right by my side.  I want to capture my babies as they are. every. single. day.  A day in the life of Marleigh & Maddox :)



Hello 2012 :)

So I offically sucked at blogging for this past year.  I got so busy and totally put it off on the back burner.  However, we are changing that for 2012!  Lots of changes will be headed this way!  Including sessions, how things run, packages, work flow, and all of that fun stuff :) I couldnt be more excited!  Last year was pretty much a trail run for this business.  I learned what to do, what not to do and all of the fun trials in between.  Im so excited for a frest start.  I spent 2011 learning, praticing, failing & suceeding.  I have invested so much time (& money) into making this business better.  Its not and Im not where I want to be just yet, but Ive certainly came a long way.  None of it would be possible if it wasent for all of my AMAZING clients for trusting me!  And a huge thank you to Julie Paisley from Julie Paisley Photography & Lollie & Cryssi from Sassyfras Studios for hosting amazing workshops that I was soooo lucky to attend.  They def are who I look up to and inspire me so much to be a better person & photographer.  I could never ever thank them enough.  Plus all of the other FABULOUS photogs I have met along the way and have built lasting friendships with.  Seriously, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Bring your kids dressed like Alice, Mad hatter, the rabbit, or any kind of costume you please! 

This will be a fun, wacky, mix match, mad tea party!

Drinks and snacks will be seved to the kids and feel free to let them bring a friend or sibling!

Theses sessions will last for 30 minutes and will include all photos on a cd and the print release.

The McKaye Fam

I LOVED working this this family this afternoon! They are actually really good friends of mine! The little guy Christian and my son Maddox are best friends! They were born on the same day, had the same length & height and was only about an hour or so time difference in their births! How cool!? I loved getting an excuse to hang out with them this evening! This session was full of laughs and lots of fun!
